The author proposes a methodology for conducting extracurricular activities on ecology, the objectives of which are the formation of students ' skills of energy and resource saving, education of consumer environmental culture responsible consumer, the development of interest in reducing the «ecological footprint» of man on Earth. The material is intended for the organization of extracurricular activities with first-year students of the College, but can be integrated in separate stages in environmental studies
