Article presents developed mathematical model of the devices for chokerless skidding with its power recovery system of its energy-saving hydraulic drive based on the basic model of movement of the tractor at the logging and common methodology for modeling of planar mechanisms. The model of proposed design of the device for chokerless skidding allows studying the influence on the recovered power of geometrical and mechanical parameters of a pack of trees, technological process parameters of skidding, statistical and geometric parameters of the surface topography, taking into account rheological properties of soil.
