The aim of this study is to conduct statistical and comparative analysis of indicators of employment of graduates on the basis of monitoring data, officially published by the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation in 2016 by, enlarged groups of specialties and areas of training. The article presents the results of the analysis and the estimation of the position of the University on employment of graduates in the field of engineering, technology and technical Sciences on the example of Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov, which can be helpful when making management decisions.
