The article is dedicated to relationships between human
morality and religion. Main emphasis is put to the analysis of views
of E.V. Spektorsky (1875–1951), a famous Russian lawyer, sociologist
and philosopher, who has established a positive value of Christianity
to the culture in general, and to development of law and the
state in particular.
