One of the most problem areas in the technological process of cog-wheel machining is a succession of roughing (by a hob) and finishing (by shaving). In the paper there are shown the results of comparative experimental researches of a succession heredity “milling by a hob –shaving) at working with an uncorrelated and correlated shaver. The shaver correction was carried out according to the results of the analysis of toothing and accuracy parameters (profile error) of a milling wheel.
