The correct publication dates of Felix de Avelar Brotero’s Phytographia Lusitaniae selectior , with notes on his personal library

We show that two early, multi‐volume works on the Portuguese flora, all authored by Felix de Avelar Brotero, have the following publication dates: Flora Lusitanica : 1804 and Phytographia Lusitaniae selectior : 1801 (fasciculus 1), 1817 (volume 1) and 1834/1835 (volume 2).
