Cicendia filiformis (L.) Delarbre and Exaculum pusillum (Lam.) Caruel, the two Euro‐Mediterranean Gentianaceae species with the smallest and slenderest stems, are typified, the former on a figure of Vaillant and the latter on a plant specimen in Lamarck's herbarium (P‐LAM).
