The typification of four Linnaean names ( Asperula crassifolia L., Hesperis dentata L., Pancratium illyricum L., Scrophularia trifoliata L.), applicable to species endemic to the Italian flora, is discussed. Specimens from L (Herb. Van Royen) and LINN (Herb. Linnaeus) are designated as lectotypes. For Asperula crassifolia , an interpretative epitype is also designated, which coincides with the lectotype (also proposed here) of A. tomentosa Ten.
