First person – Hungtang Ko

First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Biology Open, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Hungtang Ko is first author on ‘ Metabolic scaling of fire ants (Solenopsis invicta) engaged in collective behaviors’, published in BiO. Hungtang is a PhD Candidate in the lab of David L. Hu at Georgia Institute of Technology, investigating the properties of animal groups as they are involved in collective behaviors.
