Adverse circulatory responses such as cardiac arrhythmias, hypotension. and even cardiac arrest can be brought about by the suddeb lowering of intracranial pressure. This paper describes two cases of bradycardia and hypotension and one of hypotension alone caused by the application of closed, negative pressure drainage to a craniotomy wound.
