Plasma B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) can predict postoperative complications after cardiac surgery in adults. Our aim was to investigate BNP kinetics and prognostic value in neonates undergoing the arterial switch operation (ASO) for transposition of the great arteries (TGA).
