Cytohesin‐1 inhibition or silencing enhances fMLF‐induced Mac‐1 activation, Mac‐1‐dependent adhesion to fibrinogen and phagocytosis whereas cytohesin‐1 over‐expression restrains Mac‐1 activity in polymorphonuclear neutrophils.
