Probiotics are important microorganisms that generally confer a nutrition and health benefit on humans.Probiotics have the medical and health role;however,reports in recent years have raised much debate over the safety of probiotics.This article describes the safety and unsafety of probiotics,to facilitate the correct knowing,understanding and use the probiotics in clinical practice,which will have an important significance in further development and utilization of probiotics.
