Rehabilitative changes that occurred during an educational program in homemaking were measured using three instruments: an Information and Activity Questionnaire, a Self‐ Analysis Scale, and the Cardiac Adjustment Scale. These tests were administered to 28 homemakers who were divided into experimental and control groups, each group with 14 subjects. The tests were administered on an individual basis before and after the 10‐week program. Homemakers involved in the homemaking rehabilitation program showed significant and favorable changes in scores on the three instruments, whereas the group not involved in the rehabilitation program did not show significant changes. Also, the differences between mean pre‐ and posttest scores were significantly greater for the experimental than for the control group.
