In recent years a number of new techniques have been developed in the Behavioural Sciences that have been quickly adopted by Personnel Practitioners. However, one group of techniques originally developed by Psychologists, which could well prove very useful for Personnel Practitioners, has instead been adopted by the Market Research fraternity. This area is the field of multivariate statistical techniques.
