Most organizations operate in an economic environment which is characterised by rapid and major change. This situation demands that in order to survive with the 1980's, organizations must find a satisfactory mechanism for coping with this change, particularly as it affects the human side of the enterprise. In this paper the authors present a method for determining organizational behaviour and make some observations on the use of the models to cope with the changing environment.
