For this issue we have selected for review two major works, one of Australian origin and one from overseas. The Australian publication deals with one of the major public events of recent years in the Personnel field‐the South‐Australian‐Government‐sponsored International Conference on Industrial Democracy. We will let the Review speak for itself, but we think there is vital reading here for all forward‐looking people connected in any way with the profession of Personnel Management. The overseas book, while published in the United Kingdom, deals with a universal problem for Personnel Management throughout the Western World. Again we will allow the Review to set out what this book has to offer.
