It has been brought to our attention that there may be some confusion regarding a statement in the Summary section of our article, Crown Restoration of the Endodontically Treated Tooth: Literature Review ( J Vet Dent 2007 24: 9 – 12). Because there is virtually no published research detailing crown restoration in veterinary patients, a majority of the reviewed literature was human research. The first sentence of the Summary section should more accurately state: The reviewed literature supports full crown restoration in all endodontically treated teeth other than incisors in humans. Respectfully, Curt Coffman, DVM Louis Visser, DDS
