The CRP (C-reactive protein) content has been studied, as well as the values of leukocyte markers of endogenous intoxication in the blood of female-patients, having lactostasis, lactation mastitis and of those practically healthy lactating females have been analyzed. It has been established that the CRP level increases considerably at lactostasis. Lactation mastitis is followed by endogenous intoxication that reveals itself in prospective changes of NSI (nuclear shift index), LII (leukocyte intoxication index) values.
