Nowadays, the leading scientists of Ukraine and the world are actively exploring the problem of nanoscale materials toxicity. In this article the publications and online resources relating to current issues of nanotoxicology, particularly of manganese-containing nanoparticles toxicity, were analyzed. The necessity of in-depth study of biochemical, physiological and molecular mechanisms of manganese-containing nanoparticles on living objects for the prevention and reduction of existing toxic effects on the body was accentuate.
