Hashimoto thyroiditis, characterized by positive thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAbs), is caused by the interaction of genetic and environment factors. The aim of this study was to clarify the interaction of gene polymorphisms and iodine intake in the incidence of TPOAb positivity.
