BackgroundAims: Salvianolic acid B (SalB) is a natural polyphenolic compound enriched in Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Our study was designed to explore the role of Sal B on cognitive impairment in vascular dementia (VD) model rats, as well as its possible molecular mechanisms.
