Salvage high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and cryotherapy (CRYO) have emerged as interesting alternatives in the treatment of local radio-recurrent prostate cancer. Currently, recommendations concerning the use of CRYO and HIFU in the salvage setting are still evolving.
