The ratio of triglycerides (TG, mg/dl) to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C, mg/dl) is a reliable indicator of insulin resistance and atherosclerotic diseases. The purpose of this study was to examine the association between TG/HDL-C and chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a nationally representative sample of Korean adults.
