Different works have suggested that in the hypertrophied heart the energy metabolic pathway shifts to glycolysis. Our aim was to evaluate using proteomics the expression of proteins associated with different energetic metabolic pathways in hypertrophied left ventricles of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR).
