It has now been well over two years since we hosted an in-person ECS meeting—October 2019 in Atlanta was our last. While I am incredibly proud of how the ECS community (volunteers, members, staff, and other constituents) banded together to do what was necessary to keep the Society’s vital work moving forward despite a years-long global pandemic, I feel, like so many people with whom I speak, that it is high time we resumed in-person meetings.
