The winter season has crept up on us rather quickly, says the BVA's recent graduate representative Jen Hall. Suddenly we are coping with dark evenings and colder weather, which for young (and older) vets can make the Christmas season a lonely and isolating time. Leaving and returning home in the dark can make the working week feel long, and the prospect of finding your way to out‐of‐hours calls can be daunting.
