The BVA's Overseas Group provides the route through which the BVA and its members interact with veterinary organisations, associations and individuals in the developing world. The group has a broad spectrum of aims, including maintaining a body of expertise in exotic and emerging diseases, encouraging the provision of veterinary services and promoting the role of vets in disaster management, as well as their expertise in strategies for climate change and food security.
