A groundbreaking collaborative workshop, organised by the Comparative Clinical Science Foundation (CCSF), took place at the Wellcome Trust on July 15, with the aim of exploring the benefits of joint research in veterinary and human medicine. Presentations were given on a variety of research projects as examples of how studies in other species can inform the development of novel therapies for severe and complex human diseases.
