Strengthening support for the BVA's Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish divisions is a key priority in the year ahead. The similarities and differences of veterinary issues between the devolved regions, and the different approaches being taken to them, are high on the Association's agenda. The BVA aims to ensure that members are fully involved in the formation of policy, and to increase the Association's influence with government policymakers throughout the UK. With the BVA's new President hailing from Scotland, BVA News begins the new association year with a look at Scottish issues.
