‘Animals + humans = One health’ is the slogan of European Veterinary Week – a joint initiative between the European Commission's Directorate General for Health and Consumers and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE). The aim is to highlight the important roles that veterinarians play in the EU and to promote the concepts of partnership and communication. Following a successful inaugural event last year, this year's European Veterinary Week took place from September 28 to October 4.
