The slowing economy's potential impact on veterinary practice was a key theme at this year's Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) congress, which was held at the Nottingham Belfry hotel from January 22 to 24. The 206 delegates enjoyed lectures, workshops and, for the first time, special question and answer ‘surgeries’, where they had the opportunity to receive individual advice from experts in areas such as health and safety, legal matters and employment issues.
