The BVA's regional dinners help to bring matters of veterinary importance to the attention of decision makers and other interested parties. During her speech to guests at the dinner in Cardiff on April 28, who included the Welsh rural affairs minister, Elin Jones, the BVA President, Nicky Paull, discussed a number of issues that are high on the BVA's agenda, including bovine tuberculosis (TB), bluetongue, pet travel and responsibility and cost sharing.
