Just south of the city of Edinburgh is an area known locally as the Science Triangle. Among the scientific establishments to be found there is the Moredun Group, an organisation devoted to animal health research. Grainger Laffan met Julie Fitzpatrick, scientific director of the Moredun Research Institute, one of the divisions of the Moredun Group, to find out more about the research being conducted at the institute and her plans for its future
