A one‐year‐old golden retriever was presented with a double‐chambered right ventricle leading to extreme right ventricular outflow obstruction. The patient was placed on cardiopulmonary bypass, and the defect was corrected by removal of the fibromuscular obstruction and placement of a bovine pericardial patch through a right ventriculotomy. The patient continues to do very well 30 months post surgery.
