A fennec fox ( Vulpes zerda ) was presented with 10/10 lameness of the right forelimb. Radiographs showed transverse fractures of the radius and ulna. Surgical repair was carried out using an intramedullary pin in the ulna and an external fixator in the radius. Implants were removed after radiographs demonstrated sufficient healing at five weeks postsurgery and the patient remains clinically well with complete limb function one year later.
