AN article in last month's issue of In Practice (October 2008, vol 30, pp 508–512) described the aetiopathogenesis of canine elbow dysplasia and its diagnosis. This article reviews the treatment modalities currently in use for dealing with the various forms of elbow dysplasia, namely, fragmented medial coronoid process, ununited anconeal process, osteochondrosis of the humeral condyle and ununited medial epicondyle.
