AS for other professionals, the decisions veterinarians make at different stages of their lives can make or break their financial security. Careful planning is required to maximise financial aspirations while providing personal and professional protection. In this, the first of five articles, Daniel James follows the life of a fictional veterinarian, discussing how and what she should plan for in order to achieve these goals. The story begins at the point of graduation; subsequent instalments will follow her fortunes through to retirement.
