BY 2002, Joanne Leathers had been qualified for several years, and was working in a busy mixed practice. But disillusionment was creeping in: a gruelling work schedule seemed to leave no time for a social life or outside pursuits. She decided a change was needed. Here, she describes her new life working in an out‐of‐hours emergency clinic.
