FOLLOWING a decision by its Council in November last year, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons modified its advice on incorporation and acknowledged that the College has no legal powers to prevent members forming a company for the ownership and management of a veterinary practice. Here, John Gripper attempts to predict the consequences of a decision which, he says, has far‐reaching implications for practice.
