A PET loss bereavement group is a valuable service which can be offered by a veterinary practice. Veterinary surgeons, however, receive little training in ‘people care’ and may feel unsure about establishing such a group. In this article, Janet Thomas describes the benefits, and limitations, of a bereavement support group.
