ALTHOUGH severe cardiovascular disease is relatively uncommon in cattle it is important that the clinician examines this body system with care during the routine clinical examination of the bovine patient. Early detection of cardiovascular disease may enable appropriate remedial action be taken and an accurate prognosis of the patient's condition to be offered.
