THE equine penis may become physically injured or affected by specific pathological lesions. Although some of the disorders appear dramatic, many carry a good prognosis for freedom from disease and a return to breeding soundness following therapy. This article describes the more common conditions and outlines medical and surgical management which can be performed without elaborate equipment or facilities.
