OCULAR lavage systems are temporary implant devices designed to deliver liquid topical medications to the eye. They are particularly useful in horses, where anatomical features and temperament make frequent ocular topical medication tedious and often dangerous to both the handler and patient. The most common severe equine eye conditions requiring frequent topical medication are ulcerative keratitis and anterior uveitis.
