Flexural deformities of foals and growing horses can be divided into congenital (present at birth) and acquired (developing after birth) groups. This article, part two of this series, focuses on acquired flexural deformities, which are those that develop later in a foal's life. Some facets of these flexural deformities are the same as for congenital flexural deformities, which were discussed in part one, published in last month's issue of In Practice .
