Veterinary practise encompasses a wide range of procedures, from simple vaccinations and blood testing through to anaesthesia and complex surgery. An article in the January 2012 issue of In Practice (vol 34, pp 52‐53) set out the procedures that can be legally delegated to veterinary nurses within the practice under Schedule 3 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. The quiz below gives you a chance to test your knowledge on which members of the practice team are legally permitted to perform which tasks. Answers are on pages 492‐493.
