To perform a cost-effectiveness and budget impact analysis from the perspective of the Spanish public healthcare system (SHS) to compare the number of overnight hospital stays avoided under a community and a hospital pharmacy model due to the administration of intravenous anti-infective therapy (IVAT) at a nursing home with 145 beds.
