Mycobacterium hippocampi is an acid-fast opportunistic pathogen associated with infections in aquatic animals. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of M. hippocampi strain DL, an isolate from cultured European sea bass ( Dicentrarchus labrax ) associated with systemic symptomatology.
