This study investigated the efficacy of a cyclodextrin solution of itraconazole in the treatment ofCandida -associated denture stomatitis. It was found that the liquid and capsule preparations of itraconazole were equally effective adjuncts in the treatment of this condition. However, the side effect profile indicates that capsules are the preferred formulation.
