Aspergillus terreus is an opportunistic causative agent of invasive aspergillosis and, in most cases, it is refractory to amphotericin B (AMB) therapy. Notably, AMB-susceptibleAspergillus terreus sensu stricto (s.s.) representatives exist which are also associated with poor clinical outcomes.
